Xtreme Everest Symposium: Human Tolerance of Hypoxia

Join Xtreme Everest and the Department of Anesthesiology at Duke University on the 14 and 15 June 2018 as they present the Xtreme Everest Symposium: Human Tolerance of Hypoxia: Going to Extremes to Understand Critical Illness conference. This conference will review the Xtreme Everest medical research program that takes lessons learned in extreme low oxygen environments, including that found on the summit of Mount Everest, and brings them back to the bedside of the intensive care unit (ICU). Full article>

The 6th ISEH 5k & 10k Run

Join the ISEH on Sunday 24 June at the beautiful London's Regents Park for their annual 5k & 10k run. You can choose either a 5K or 10K route which will be chip timed and fully signed and marshalled. The route is flat so ideal for all ages and fitness levels. In addition there will also be a 2.5K route. You don’t have to run you can walk or jog on your own or with friends, family and colleagues and enjoy the park's amazing scenery. Full article>

2018 World Extreme Medicine Conference

The 2018 World Extreme Medicine Conference is taking place this year on the 23 - 25 November in Edinburgh.
