Joint meeting of Xtreme Everest and the Nepal Mountain Medicine Society
For the seventh KnO2wledge conference, CASE Medicine hit the road and travelled to Kathmandu, Nepal to host the meeting in conjunction with Xtreme Everest and the Nepal Mountain Medicine Society.
Taking place on 19 May 2013 at the Summit Hotel, Kopondol Heights, Kathmandu, the conference provided a presentation of results from the Caudwell Xtreme Everest expedition of 2007, and discussion of the future plans for research by the UCL Centre for Altitude, Space and Extreme Environment Medicine.
