One of our wonderful trekkers from this year’s 10-year anniversary expedition back to Everest, has been giving a TED talk on the importance of adventure in modern day life. A mantra shared by all at Xtreme Everest.

Catherine gives an informative and at points soul searching talk on the importance of pushing the boundaries of adventure and travel. Catherine and her family joined us in March this year, trekking from Shivalaya to Namche Bazar in the footsteps of Hillary and Tenzing Norgay.

Catherine’s husband Mark has been one of our key team members since 2007, having been on the first Xtreme Everest expedition and the 2010 Xtreme Alps expedition.
Next up for Catherine is a return to the Namibian wilderness, tracking elusive desert elephants for her The Matriarch Adventure trek. The group depart in November 2017, with places still available.

You can follow Catherine and her adventures via her Twitter page or via her personal blogs here
