Xtreme Everest's Dr Sundeep Dhillon recently took part in the TedxLondon event to speak about what Xtreme Everest has learned about the human body by studying the effects of high altitude.

Sundeep, who was an investigator on our expeditions in 2007, 2009 and 2013, studied medicine at the University of Oxford and served as a General Practitioner with British Airborne Forces for 20 years with multiple short-notice deployments to austere environments. Sundeep also successfully summited Everest in 2007 as part of the Caudwell Xtreme Everest expedition.

This very popular event featured a range for speakers including Professor Stephen Hawkings, Krtin Nithiyanandam who is the 15 year old Google Science Fair winner and Professor Lucie Green who is a Professor of Physics and a Royal Society University Research Fellow based at the Mullard Space Science Laboratory, UCL’s Department of Space and Climate Physics and studies activity in the atmosphere of our nearest star, the Sun.
