The Cure - Doctors on Everest: Investigating Intensive Care

Xtreme Everest featured on an episode of Al Jazeera’s The Cure series, which followed the 2013 expedition to Everest. The documentary which gives an overview of the science behind the expedition, as well as meeting some of the volunteers who signed up to partake in the groundbreaking research. It also explains how the testing undertaken will help to provide vital information to help increase survival rates in patients who end up in intensive care.

The documentary also won the Foreign Press Association’s ‘Science Story of the Year’ in 2013.
